auch dieses Jahr wollen wir euch wieder mit hinein nehmen, was sich in Nagaland und bei uns tut. Danke für eure langjährige Freundschaft und Unterstützung.

Talentshow
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Talentshow, in der die Kinder zeigten, was in ihnen steckt. Sehr viele sind sehr kreativ und begabt, vor allem im Singen und Tanzen. Die Kinder hatten ihren Spaß und sind dabei wie aufgeblüht.
Wir haben zwei relativ neue Brüder, die recht „steif“ und ruhig sind. Sie kommen kaum aus sich heraus, noch nicht einmal beim Spielen. Aber bei der Talentshow hat der jüngere ein Lied gesungen und der ältere mit zwei anderen Mädchen einen Tanz vorgeführt. Wir waren so überrascht und haben nicht schlecht gestaunt.
Auch Toyba ein kleines, zierliches Mädchen, dass schon seit Jahren zu uns kommt, hat uns zum Staunen gebracht. Sie ist normalerweise sehr ruhig, schüchtern und unscheinbar. Sie hatte bisher auch noch nie an irgendwelchen „Auftritten“ teilgenommen. Aber dieses Mal hat sie zwei Tänze aufgeführt und sie hat das super gemacht.
In der Arbeit mit den Kindern, sind es oft diese kleinen Dinge, die uns Freude bereiten und ermutigen. Von Zu Hause bekommen die Kids leider selten Unterstützung in diese Richtung.

Inato´s Mutter
Inato ist ein aufgeweckter kleiner Junge, der schon von Anfang an bei uns ist. Er kam zu uns, da war er gerade mal 4 Jahre alt. Sein Vater ist gleich nach seiner Geburt gestorben. Die ungebildete Mutter ohne Arbeit, hat es nicht leicht, sich alleine um ihren Sohn zu kümmern. Für einige Jahre hat sie illegalen Alkohol verkauft und sich auch prostituiert, bis sie angefangen hat eine Kirche zu besuchen. Sie hat dort kleinere Aufgaben übernommen und wird etwas finanziell unterstützt. Auch wir unterstützen sie hier und da mit Lebensmitteln, Finanzen und Inato ist in unserem Schulpatenschaftsprogramm, alle Kosten für die Schulbildung sind damit gedeckt. Zusätzlich hat sie vor kurzem eine Putzstelle gefunden. Seit ein paar Monaten ist die Mutter ziemlich krank. Sie war einige Zeit im Krankenhaus. Die enormen Kosten wurden von ihrer Kirche und teilweise von uns getragen. Wir sind immer zur Stelle, wenn solche Schwierigkeiten auftreten, aber vor allem wollen wir auch, gemäß der Bi.b.l die Witwen unterstützen.
