Red Connection Nagaland Rundbrief August 2021

Hallo ihr Lieben,
Ihr habt lange nichts von uns gehört. Das liegt vor allem an den vielen Lockdowns und Einschränkungen. Letztes Jahr waren wir für über 6 Monate im Lockdown. Zum Ende des Jahres hin, hat sich dann alles nach und nach wieder geöffnet. Wir konnten wieder mit Hausbesuchen anfangen und nach und nach kehrte wieder Normalität zurück, so dass wir unsere Kinderprogramme wieder im vollen Schwung durchführen konnten. Leider kam dann Anfang diesen Jahres schon wieder der nächste strenge Lockdown und wir konnten die Kids nicht mehr treffen. Gerade bei einer Gott sei Dank öffnet sich jetzt wieder alles und wir können wieder durchstarten.Arbeit mit Kindern und Jugendlichen ist es eigentlich so notwendig im regelmäßigen Kontakt zu bleiben, diese Lockdowns haben unsere Arbeit sehr erschwert.

Kleingruppen und Nachhilfe

In den letzten Wochen hat sich ganz langsam wieder mehr und mehr geöffnet und so starteten wir wieder mit Hausbesuchen und treffen die Kinder in Kleingruppen. Erst gibt es geistliches Programm und dann noch Nachhilfe.
Für 1,5 Jahre hatten die Kinder nur online Unterricht, dabei lernten sie leider nicht viel und viele haben auch nicht die notwendigen Handies oder Computer. Sie sind sowieso recht schwache Schüler, das liegt vor allem an ihrem Umfeld und die Vernachlässigung ihrer Eltern. Nun gibt es viel aufzuholen.
Jetzt im August öffnet sich alles wieder inklusive Kirchen (endlich) und teilweise auch Schulen. Somit werden wir jetzt auch wieder Kinderveranstaltungen im großen Rahmen ausüben.


Beim Hausbesuch: Die Familie lebt in einem Zimmer.

Sarita
Sie ist eines unserer Teenagermädchen und kommt ursprünglich aus Nepal. Die meisten ihrer Geschwister leben hauptsächlich in Nepal und ihre Mutter pendelt hin und her. Sarita ist in Nagaland aufgewachsen, da ihr Vater hier eine Anstellung hatte. Sie ist auch in unserem Schulpatenschaftsprogramm und ist seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig im “The Kid´s Garden” anwesend. Während des Lockdowns wurde ihr Vater krank, er war schon etwas älter und wir vermuten, dass er Herzprobleme hatte. Wegen den Cor.o.na Bestimmungen ist die medizinische Versorgung teilweise sehr problematisch geworden. Leider ist er verstorben. Im Krankenhaus wurde ein Te.st gemacht, dieser war negativ. Dann plötzlich ein paar Stunden später hieß es, dass er an Co.ro.na gestorben ist und sein Körper wurde ohne Vorwarnung weggeschaft, ohne dass die Familie Abschied nehmen konnte. Natürlich musste Sarita und die Familie in Quarantäne und alle mussten getestet werden. Für die Armen bedeutet dies viele Ausgaben. 7 Leute mussten kostenpflichtig getestet werden und da sie nicht mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zum Krankenhaus gehen durften, mussten sie einen Krankenwagen anheuern und bezahlen. In ihrer Verzweiflung riefen sie uns an und wir konnten ihnen helfen, aber viele Familien hat so etwas in Schulden und Verzweiflung getrieben. Sarita war ziemlich mitgenommen wegen dem allem. Wir durften sie ja noch nicht einmal besuchen und konnten nur übers Telefon ihr gut zureden. Gott sei Dank geht es ihr mittlerweile besser.

Zur Zeit ist das Thema Im.pf.ung ganz groß. Der Staat versucht eine Im.pfpf.licht einzuführen. So werden alle, die eine staatliche Anstellung haben (das betrifft hier sehr viele) aufgefordert die Spritze zu nehmen, ansonsten bekommen sie kein Gehalt ausbezahlt. Das gleiche gilt für Angestellte in Schulen.Der Staat hat ein Hilfsprogramm für Arme, dabei werden monatlich Lebensmittel ausgegeben, allerdings bekommt man diese auch nur noch mit Im.pf.ung. Es bleibt weiterhin spannend, wie sich das noch alles entwickelt.
Kinimis
Uns geht es gut. Aki war mit und ohne Lockdown non-stop mit unserer Essenskantine im Krankenhaus beschäftigt. Er konnte wieder vielen Menschen helfen und beistehen.
Kimiye unser großer hat sich sehr verändert und wird immer selbstständiger. Sein Charakter und seine Vorlieben ähneln immer mehr Aki. Er ist sehr aktiv und abenteuerlustig. Will nur noch schwarze Shirts und Jeanshosen anziehen, wie sein Papa. Er liebt Musik, Singen, Tanzen und spielt am liebsten Schlagzeug. Oh und nicht zu vergessen, er liebt es zu kochen und verbringt Stunden in seiner Spielküche. Wer es nicht weiß, Aki ist ein fantastischer Koch.
Inui Kurt ist jetzt auch schon 8 Monate alt. Er ist vom Charakter her total anders, das war schon gleich nach der Geburt so.
Inui hat dunklere Haut und Haare aber sieht dennoch europäischer aus und kommt mehr nach der Mama. Er ist an allem sehr interessiert und non stop auf  Entdeckungsreise. Er ist ein Beobachter und weiß ganz genau, was er will. Da helfen auch die Ablenkungstaktiken nicht immer, wenn er sich erstmal etwas in den Kopf gesetzt hat. Musik liebt er auch und mischt immer mit, wenn Kimiye seine Intrumente spielt.

Wir würden so gerne nach Deutschland kommen, aber unter den derzeitigen Umständen, werden wir das vorerst nicht können. Die Kinder haben indische Pässe, der ganze Visaprozess ist jetzt noch schwieriger und dann die Gefahr, dass wieder alles plötzlich dicht gemacht wird und wir nicht mehr zurück reisen könnten etc.
